Arpalit Dog electronic repellent is suitable for dogs of all sizes and ages. It is also used for older and weak animals prone to disease, during lactation, for puppies/kittens and for animals living in the house. The electronic repellent contains a microchip that emits ultrasonic pulses at a frequency of 40 kHz inaudible to humans and animals. All you have to do is attach the electronic repellent to a dog-collar, harness, leash or other animal accessory through the hole towards the animal’s body. The effectiveness of the electronic repellent does not decrease in moisture or rain, but it must be removed before bathing the animal, otherwise the functionality of the electronic repellent may be endangered.
It is recommended to use the electronic repellent especially during the period of the highest occurrence of parasites (March-October). After attaching the electronic repellent to the collar, the occurrence of parasites is reduced depending on the initial infestation of the animal. Treating the animal with an antiparasitic product before using the electronic repellent, for example, washing it with antiparasitic shampoo or one-time treating with Arpalit spray,/mechanical sprayer or foam according to the type of animal is generally recommended. A significant reduction in the incidence of parasites occurs 7 days after starting of use.
In animals with a significant incidence of parasites, especially in the initial phase of high infestation or in the period when there is an extreme occurrence of ticks, it is recommended to combine Arpalit Dog electronic repellent with antiparasitic agents once before a walk, for example with Arpalit NEO spray, mechanical sprayer, foam, if you want to eliminate the occurrence of ticks on your dog.
After 35 days from use, no parasites are usually present on the animal’s body.
It is an item that helps to reduce the incidence of these ectoparasites on the animal’s body, but like repellents, it does not provide 100% protection against their infestation.
